Location and Accommodations
ACCOMMODATIONS: Students must make their own arrangements for room, meals and transportation.
TURLEY FORGE is approximately five miles west of the center of Santa Fe.
Most students find convenient accommodations in motel-kitchenettes or apartments.
Students are advised to make reservations ahead of time or arrive a few days early to aid in acquiring lodging.
TURLEY FORGE is located near several ranges of mountains where state and national camping sites are available.
Santa Fe altitude is 7,000 feet and students should bring proper clothing;
summer days are beautiful and warm with cool evenings;
spring and fall days and evenings are cool; winter days are bright and cold.
It snows intermittently November through March.
